Boot Camp

Well, the time has come to potty train...hooray. I decided to do a 'boot camp' method where all we did for 3 days was go to the bathroom. Trent and Conley went on a little Father-Son fishing trip, so it was the perfect opportunity. Preslee caught on and is doing great! We've had a few accidents here and there, but not bad for 5 days.
Carson is doing so much better! I'm glad to say that he is finally happy and content, he is not hurting like he was. It makes me feel better to know that stopping breastfeeding was the best thing for him. We will find out how the weight gain thing is going later on this week.

To whom it may concern ....... (kiLey)

New this week.....

So...I got braces..AGAIN! Just on the bottom, but dang, twice in a lifetime....how awesome am I. The kids finished their swim lessons after 5 solid weeks. They both are little fish, Conley can jump off the diving board and make it to the other end and Preslee can swim under the water now. We are so proud of them both. Carson went to his well child visit and is not growing very well. He is not getting enough of what he needs, so they have put him on that Nutramigen crap and we will see how it goes. I am VERY sad to stop nursing, but I will do what is best for him. He has cried for the last 2 whole days almost. I hope it starts getting better soon. Trent took the kids fishing today...they finally came home when they were sick of catching fish. conley goes to day camp all next week....Preslee and I are going to have some 'girl time' :-) catch ya'll later.

Carson

Because he is the newest, he deserves a little post of his very own. Just to recap....Jack Carson Rogers (to be known from this day forward as 'Carson') was born in Grand Junction, Co. on May 3, 2008. He weighed 7 lbs. 10 oz. and was 20 1/4" long. He is so stinking cute! He is just getting the hang of smiling and cooing and is doing it all the time. He is still a very colicky baby, but hopefully that will improve over time. We love him tons.

Believe it or not......

This page is dedicated to those of you who insist that I "have fallen off the face of the earth' ;-). I always have good intentions about phoning, emailing, etc., but things (i.e. poop, crying, spilled milk) always seem to come up. Here is my efforts to at least let people know I'm alive.
